PROFILE


Amanda Jun Katsurada is a freelance English-Japanese interpreter and translator with BAs in anthropology and comparative literature. She worked as a localization specialist at Square-Enix for over 4 years before going freelance. A passionate traveller and people-watcher, she is expecting to receive an MA in conference interpreting from the Monterey Institute of International Studies in May 2010.

Her work ranges from translation, interpretation, and narration to article-writing in the fields of video games, cultural events and arts, history, motorsports (WRC and F1) and business in general. She was a PCT translation fellow at the World Intellectual Property Organization in 2009.
